Time For YouBy Trilogy Take time for yourself! Do a facial mask, read a book, laugh out loud, share a healthy meal, workout, and/or take a long bath - whatever it is that will make you feel better. The other day someone told me that they were extremely stressed over the market turmoil and her job instability. She went on to say that she didn’t want to be broke AND look ugly (her words, not mine). We shared a laugh and she then asked me for some inexpensive home remedies for quick pick-me-ups. Here’s a start with one of our budget-friendly bests, check back regularly for more tips. Give yourself a daily eye treatment: Erase financial fatigue and look like you had an instant eye-lift! In the morning, before bed or whenever you have time – grab your favorite eye cream or moisturizer and dot gently onto your brow bones and under your eyes. Close your eyes and place your index fingers on the inner eye corner your brow bone and sweep fingers out along the brow bone towards the temples (like a windshield wiper motion). Do not go back and forth, instead repeat from the starting position at least five times. Next, do the same motion starting at the inner corner under the eye and sweeping out along the top of the cheek bones. Remember to flow all the way to the temple area to help move fluid away from under the eyes. Last, do slow circles |
